Ollivier Community Circle (OCC) is a nonprofit organization committed to improving community health and well-being by addressing food insecurity, mental health challenges, and barriers to wellness education. Through community-driven programs and strategic partnerships, OCC provides critical resources that help individuals and families access the support they need to live healthier, more stable lives.
Our programs integrate food assistance, nutrition education, and mental health support to address both immediate needs and long-term wellness. Through partnerships with organizations such as the Food Bank of Southeastern Virginia, OCC helps expand access to healthy food while providing educational resources that empower community members to make informed health and nutrition decisions.
OCC also invests in youth development and prevention-focused programs that build emotional resilience, confidence, and life skills. Initiatives such as Sprout Society and Thrive Tribe provide children and adolescents with evidence-based strategies that support emotional regulation, healthy habits, and positive peer relationships. These programs help young people develop the tools they need to navigate challenges and prepare for future success.
By collaborating with partners such as the Boys & Girls Club and Communities in Schools, OCC strengthens the local support network available to families and ensures that services reach individuals who may otherwise face barriers to care.
Through compassionate outreach, community partnerships, and prevention-focused programming, Ollivier Community Circle is helping build healthier communities, reduce food insecurity, and expand access to mental health and wellness resources for individuals and families.
